Did you use a spray gun and mix in metalizer or is it something you can buy in a rattle can?

Very nice. I'm going to do something with mine. I'm thinking of a lighter matte gray, for an old school look. I just haven't found the right color yet.

Dont scuff your wheels, because if you decide to take the Plast-Dip off at a later date... your wheels will be well scuffed. Just clean them really good with alcohol and the Plasti-Dip will stick to them nicely. I use a few thin coats to build it up a bit.

That looks great; best Plasti-dip job I've seen yet. I'm curious too how you did this. I wouldn't mind doing that to the centers of my CCW wheels.

Looks clean, I'm digging it. I'm planning on doing my tt2 centers black.

Did you have any trouble near the lugnuts when torquing them down? Tearing, scuffs, etc? And if not did you just use an old lugnut to "mask" it off?

That looks awesome, also curios as to what the whole process was? Sprayed plasti-dip and then something over the plasti-dip?

Thanks everyone for the feedback.
As for the process it was very simple. As mentioned before do not scuff up the wheels!!
First I removed the wheels from the car.
Cleaned them up with rubbing alcohol to remove all the polishing residue and so the plasti dip sticks on good.
Then I sprayed the wheels flat black plasti dip until it had a full coverage of black.
Then I sprayed the silver metalizer which is also plasti dip in rattle can, on this step the more coats of silver metalizer you add the lighter its going to be. I actually think I should have gone a little darker.
After its all dry I just peeled off the excess and that was it..
When I put the wheel back on the car and torqued them the plasti dip didn't Peel or anything.

So you didn't mask off the lip or inner barrels when you sprayed it? I'm surprised when you peeled off the excess that the lines came out that clean. Either way, it looks great.
