Default SOM TA... thinking cyber gray plasti dip *pics*

Sold my A4 last fall and picked up this SOM M6... Loving it.

Since these pics I've tinted the windows and purchased Corsa style clones. I went to order polished stainless overlays but suddenly became indecisive.

Since the DD wheels aren't chrome (drag radials are on the stock chromies) I started leaning
towards the brushed aluminum style which would match..... it was a downhill spiral from there.

I thought about matching a CETA bumper mod but don't wanna do black (too common)

So I'm considering doing CETA bumper mod, the side, front and rear overlays, and the wheel spokes in cyber gray.

Any thoughts?

VERY nice T/A! Love the SOM!

In terms of the CETA mod, I dunno, I think black would look just fine....

I'd paint it a gunmetal or charcoal color. But real paint, not plastidip. I don't understand that whole fad.

Thanks! I flew up to Milwaukee to get it... drove through Chicago on the way home.

The rims I'd plasti dip, the bumper I would paint after deciding if I liked it. The plasti dip doesn't have the quality finish I want.

Those wheels look perfect; I wouldn't touch 'em. Definitely do the ceta. I'd go flat black, but that's just me.

I think those wheels would look badass in a grey metallic with a polished lip. I'm with u on everyone putting black on their car. Thats why I am doing a blue theme on my white car instead of black.

hell, I like the car as it sits and wouldn't add any paint/plasti-dip anywhere myself.

you just NEED to lower it, throw on your new exhaust tips, get a shorty antenna, blackout the reverse lights, and call it a day. keep it clean and simple!

I think cyber gray touches would look good but would skip the ceta mod. I also sold my a4 car for my som m6 ss. it has gray center wheels if you want to see it.

I have Cyber grey painted wheels, emblems, CETA, front bird, and hood stripes and I love it. The car gets alot of compliments and I love the color, though it is black so it is a nice contrast.

I wish they were polished but they are machined, which is why I'm considering the brushed aluminum emblems to match. I love the white w\ blue. It's an ultra clean look.

I still have a can of the lens tint from doing my last TA... I'm wanting to do a 1.25 drop/ strano setup but it'll be awhile before I can rob the piggy bank for that. My next few significant investments will be performance oriented.

It would be greatly appreciated. Post em on this thread if you want.

I doubt they have an exact match but I'm sure there is something close just to see if i like it. I think they do custom color or you can mix your own?

I would paint it once I decided just want to plasti dip temporarily.

I'm partial to flat black myself, but that is because that is what my car has. Try out the gray and see if you like it. The best part about Plasti-Dip is the ability to remove it easily. I bought my car with the black Plasti-Dip CETA mod last year, and it has shown no signs of fading/peeling.

That looks every bit as good as real paint. Most photos I've seen of plasti-dip do not look nearly this consistent through the covered areas. This changed my perception of the quality concerns.

I think cyber grey accents would look killer. Someone needs to photoshop the spokes on his car cyber grey I bet it'd look sick.
Cyber grey front bird, side "Trans Am" overlays, cyber grey spokes, lower it, and MAYBE a cyber grey CETA. But I like SOM without the CETA so it could go either way.
