Should I Paint my wheels Black?
Hi everyone! i just really cant decide whether or not to paint my c5 zo6 wheels black (plasti-dip) I used to have all red tail lights, but it had faded so i stripped them back to stock
Now i am thinking of tinting the tail lights black instead as well as throwing around the idea to go all the way and paint my wheels black too.
Thanks

I would say plasti dip. Had mine on for about a year and just took it off cause wanted a different look. It's nice to switch. No damage to the rim either. Car looks awesome too

Thanks for the input everyone i just wont powdercoat them because the chrome is in really great shape, except for one center cap, anyone have input on how to fix it?
I just thought to get something new because i have had them for 3yrs now
Should i still tint the tails? i think that would look good with some inserts for the camaro lettering in the back!
thanks for the compliments and she just rolled over 119k

Also, if you tint the tail lights, don't paint the reverese lamp section.. It looks goofy and outdated when they are all black, plus it will match your whistler modded headlights better. Not to mention you'll actually still be able to see while reversing at night. Just my .02 cent...

I painted my chrome stockers (5 spoke) GM gunmetal Metallic. When I'm done I will post pictures for everyone to see. I think it turned out brilliant.... I had my stockers plasti dipped for about 8 months. No damage done to wheels and its tough...lasted through 2 car washes every week.

I like them as they sit right now. But if i was to plastidip them, id do the gunmetal color. A member here did them on his trans am, and they looked great. Black platidip is starting to look cheap imo. Very few cars can pull it off.
