Depends on how far you want to go, swapped in some Volvo S60 seats(little tall) held me pretty well, current seats are out of a 90 something Honda accord. Had some cheap aftermarket seats that I got for free, would have to say the accord seats have been the most comfortable. If you can't find a seat to fit your budget, learn and build one, it may not be to everyone's taste but Its mine, I made it and both seats cost me $50. Vinyl cost $30, the time sewing and putting them together is however much you think it's worth. Always keeping my eye open for the next seat project.

From what I have read if you are over 6' tall you will have issues fitting in, but you can always modify them to go lower.

No. You will either have to drill new holes in your floor or fab new brackets. Also they are larger, so you'll lose most of the leg room in the back. But they one of the most comfortable factory seats GM has made.

I have one gto seat. if i had two, theyd probably end up in my car or my truck, although theyre heavy. but for now its a nice desk chair. so comfortable. id like some lighter seats, my trans am seats are mint, but heavy as hell.

Fabricate custom seat brackets that aren't as tall. Or ditch an adjustable bracket all together and bolt the seats right to the floor.
