Default Shift Light In A-Pillar Vent

Is it possible to get an adjustable RPM shift light in the A-Pillar vent on a Trans Am? Thanks.

I have a stealth one from a guy who used to be on this site, I forget his name, but he sold them back in the early 2000's. Works great and it's nice that it's hidden and subtle till it lights up. There are 5 or 6 leds and it's bright as hell.

i run a Harlan in that same location. its awsome. cant believe after all these years (have it since 02) thing still works like a charm. good piece. you can look up a Raptor shift light...its basically the same with a few color options and should fit in the same location.

I have the very first generation Harlan light, and it has a flaw with it that when the windsheild wipers are on delay, the shift light will blink when the wipers go, but put the wipers on normal, and no issue.

Not that it's really an issue since I removed my windsheild wipers for appearance reasons, that and I never drive the car in rain. The only time the car gets wet is when it's washed.

Can you keep the actual vent screen on to keep it more stealth?

The way you get it in is by cutting the vented part and pushing down the defrost piece to fit it in there and get it to stay. It is a tight fit as is.

I had the Harlan for a while, like mentioned worked like a charm & fit perfectly in that hole with the use of a brake booster rubber grommet. It's a tight fit but once it's in there it won't just come out. Like mentioned above, you cannot use the factory defrost vent cover as the rubber grommet required replaces it in the hole on the pillar. You will also have to disconnect that defroster hose & tuck it in the dash behind the pillar.

I set mine & then checked it in the driveway before reinstalling the pillar. Took very minimal time to get it installed.
