aesthetic metal engine bay piece??
I have been searching all over for info about a certain metal piece I've seen on only a handful of cars...
Its a metal piece that fits in the triangular section right in front of the air lid. It has holes cut out for the hood latch, etc. I think it looks very clean.
Does anyone know if these are custom made or if a company sells them? would love to see some pics if anyone has one.

What they have is very close to what I want, but not quite. What I'm going for is more like the JAAM system where it covers that whole section and adds a little functionality to it even. Thanks tho.

Wow, never seen that before. Nice to see soneone producing something for us t/a owners. Unfortunately, I hate the way that opening looks for the windshield wiper fluid reservoir cap. It's pointless and it adds too much to what would be an otherwise pretty clean piece with only the necessary openings for the latch and all. The cutouts for the latch and the hood release lever also seem to be larger than necessary. Why the L shape for the latch opening? All it is is a straight bar that needs to come through there.
Sure, it's no 01badbird piece, but it's the next best thing for a guy with no fiberglass skils lol. I may consider it. Gonna contact them and see if they can ateast make it without punching out the hole for the cap
