I'd like to see the stock one next to that one , mounted on the car . Then that would give me an idea of how it looks .

I like it. Simplifies the base and puts more emphasis on the main section. Nice work

thought about that also but other mirrors have gap, but if does cause noise will just have to fill in gap (notch). also thought stock mirrors having "pocket" not good idea seems like it would block air?Thats ok right now when i floor the car it screams!!!!

That's sweet and a clean mod. I like those kinds of mods that you can tell somethings different but you can't really tell what it is exactly.

Not a big fan... Makes them look like weird misshapen ears.

Thanks and painting soon and will put on and get some pics! I know might not be for all but trying to make it look more like a regular mirror, I think stock looks more like it has weird "ears" on it but to each there own and also appreciate the input.

It's different. I actually like it. I just never considered stock mirrors to be an eye-sore.

Meh. IMO it looks even more like an ear than before. Before it had a little oval shape that complemented the inset curves on the front bumper, but now it's just an out of place ear... But hey, your car, not mine.
