Windshield Banner on 01 Trans Am, thoughts please....... I would like to get fellow members opinions on if I should put on windshield banner on my TA. I have an 01 , it's white and is WS6 with raim air. I saw a banner in White from the site ...... http://fourthcircledesigns.com/produ...products_id=94
And to me, it looks good. There is also a fellow member on here that has one on his TA , and I think it looks great ( his is in Red ). Just wanted various opinions on if I should get one or not. Worse case, I get one, don't like it, and remove it Thanks again - mike

it's more of an import thing really, usually when you see banners like that is on imports, and some use it for advertising there car club. I have personally installed a TRD banner on a friends windshield, because at the time her Corolla was 1 of only 5 TRD Corolla's in the state of Georgia, so being SUPER rare it deserved the call out to help distinguish it from all the other regular and type-s corollas running around.
As for on a 4th gen, no it just looks tacky.

My v6 came with an "SLP Performance" windshield banner as part of their GT package, that's the only reason it has one. My Trans Am will remain banner-less though. The SLP banner doesn't look too bad as I redid it in silver to match the stripes and it doesn't stand out too much anymore.
I've got PONTIAC on my pace car and I'm not a fan of it. I have to keep it due to the decal package but I dislike it.
Ask if my other birds would have one? Actually, my other 2 don't have one decal. However, my TA vert at some point will get the 35th Camaro type decals, just not yet.

Unless you need a constant reminder of what kind of car you drive is, then I'd pass. Like people have posted, it's your car do as you wish. But, if you're doing this mod for yourself....then you would be putting a sticker on the car to remind yourself what you're driving. Just saying.
