Default which Whistler mod *pics inside*

i had my headlights retrofitted with morimoto H1's..am now kinda bored of the appearance and decided to go whistler mod. am not sure if i want to keep my high beams or just paint the whole thing black. do i leave the shroud chromed? opinions? am also considering demon eyes but am 50-50 on this..
PS. the all black light is still masked and has no projector yet..just the shroud for a mock up.

i vote no for demon eyes..

try to paint as much black on the projector , just leave a chrome ring , otherwise they will look like eyeballs lol

I painted mine completely black. The high beam in the projector will put out more than enough light so you don't need to worry about the reflector bowl for the stock high beam. I am doing all black headlights and shrouds

Absolutely. They will be here on Monday for sure. I am going to be making a new thread with a complete write up of every step of the retrofit along with pics of the light output and the cutoff. I will be updating you guys on this thread, and my other thread ''Which Color Demon eyes should I Pick?'' telling you that the new write up thread is up. Be on the lookout guys! I am pretty stoked for these projectors because they will be a night and day difference (pun intended) in light output compared to my ebay projectors.

I personally would paint the whole thing black, but I'd leave the shroud chrome. I think it's a nice touch to be able to see the shroud, it's a bit more eye catching since you put in the hard work.

I'll be doing demon eyes when I do mine as well. Installation looks simple enough, and it won't cost $20 to do. Just a couple LEDs possibly wired up with a switch. You can always turn them off if you don't want/like them, which I've never really heard of people not liking them once they have them on.

Might as well do all the work at once. I vote all black, chrome shrouds, and demon eyes

I hear ya. But in my personal option, I just really like the way the "blacked out" version of the BLS lights look. Also, the projectors on my car now have black everything and I just love that look. It goes well with my black hood. And as far as the LEDs for demon eyes, I honestly don't know anything about wiring and I wouldn't even know how to wire them to a switch and all that. I also don't want red LEDs just for the fact that cops already profile my car as it is, so I know if they saw red light coming out of my lights, they would totally get me. I will just stick with the painted shield because I like the idea that it will only look red from certain angles depending on how the light is hitting the projectors. The demon eyes ^^^ do look awesome but I just don't think they are for me. But please be sure to put pics up if you decide to do some in your headlights! Do u have a set of BLS headlights or did you buy some projectors from TheRetrofitSource.com?

Are you going to wire the Morimoto's high beam function, or are you deleting your high beams?

Also, have you thought about keeping the 4 bulbs, and adding a set of projectors dedicated to high beam, in a similar fashion to the Infiniti J30 which had quad projectors?

I would either keep them unpainted or add projectors to the high beam section as well.

I just got my projectors today and I took them apart and painted the shields red. I also painted the shrouds black. I am waiting for them to dry right now. When they're done I will be getting this retrofit going! My write up will be on here tonight guys (:
