Default Let's see those exhaust tips!

I'm looking to get a new set of tips. I REALLLLLLLY want a cme but since I just bought a house, I have to settle with something a bit cheaper.

I have been leaning towards the Corsa clones but I'm hearing they get filthy fast.

Currently I have a dynomouth with the lm1 style tips. Which I like buy they are in pretty rough shape.

I can't find the pictures any more, but there was someone that installed 4 short single tips on top of the SLP Dual/Dual tips and it looked good (better IMO, but I don't like the dual/dual tips).

Everything gets dirty if you don't clean them. Quit listening to lazy people....

Different strokes, different folks! I love the look of dual/dual double walled tips.... Ive got a pair of Corsa's that I'm installing when this bloody winter goes away!! The factory singles are just not doing it for me here. A good size single would look great on a Camaro though I'm sure. On the TA's it needs to be dual/dual IMO

I'm putting on a pair of ST123C 3.5" stainless chrome tips next week. Ordered them from mudflaps only 62 bucks which I can live with for stainless.

My corsas didn't get filthy. But I actually washed them when I would wash car. Like Mr. Old Fart said, quit listening to lazy people.

Why would one exhaust tip get dirtier than a different tip with all other things being equal? (both are in the same spot, same car, same driving conditions) There's no logic to that at all.

Get the ones you think look best (corsas, obviously) and take care of them.

Sure there is. Exhaust will take the path of least resistance. Unless you're running true duals, one outlet will be more "primary" than the other. Pretty much happens on all cars not running true duals. Fire it up when it's cold out and watch - the dirtier tip will have more fumes coming out of it.

My '00 Fbody does it, my '99 Wbody did it, and my '86 Fbbody did it.

i loved my slp 4inch double walls on my camaro, there slightly rough but i was going to put them on my t/a until i realized the magnaflow tips are welded on so i said eff it for now. I like the corsa clone tips from 6le, however i think they look best on a t/a because they fill the exhaust cutouts in the bumper perfect.
anyways heres the magnaflow tips on my bird... there yuck to me personally

This car is just rough and i am very unpleased with my own purchase, after i bought it i found out it was in an accident and the paint is all around rough, working on trying to bring it back to its former glory when it rolled off the assembly line but we shall see. Rome wasn't built in a day and i guess i just have to be patient.

here is my old pride and joy and i loved these tips so much, still have them. There slightly dented and scrapped but i think some polish and such and the t/a bumper will hide most flaws once installed.

3.5" Corsa clones here. I polish 'em every couple of weeks and they stay clean.

How about crossed (or swapped sticking out at the wrong angle) welded on style which my squirrelbrain p/o had installed. I would love ovals but way too many things on the list first.
