Default Best quality 98-02 Camaro clear corners and side markers

Considering putting a set of these on my SS to change up the look and was wondering who makes the best clear corners these days that won't start leaking over time. Has anybody used the chrome bulbs in these so the markers stay clear?

Thanks,
DW

Ebay seller neondials has the Depo corners. Best built of the ones I've tried.

Everysingle pair of corners I have had, and have on my car now melt from the heat of the regular bulbs (its not that bad) but the light socket gaskets don't fit right and they leak during heavy rains. Im thinking about going back to stock and cutting the clear corners apart to retrofit an led strip instead. I guess I kept ordering the shitty ones over the years but I've never had one that was leak free and didnt melt somewhat from the heat. One set I had kept blowing bulbs because they would sit to close to the housing and the glass of the bulb would react with the housing and burst.

Yeah same here, 99% of the housings are all the same junk. But the Depos have a heat shield in them and everything, seals a lot better too. I didn't have water issues in my Depos but the other cheesy ones did.

Not trying to hijack but has anyone ever attempted to use modern led sockets such as the one below as a replacement socket and just hard wire in a resistor or switch to fully electronic flashers. It would make these crappy cheap housing less crappy.
