I put a momo wheel on my T/A a couple of years ago and have a new clock sprg for if I got back to oem.But my intention was to move the wheel back so
I would sit farther back because I also made some brackets for the seats and moved them back 3.50 inches and it all feels great cruzin now.You can buy the air bag bypass fuses/resis from a lot of places. You just have to look close at the desciptions cause feds don't like it.

Is there any play at all in the quick release (most of them are notorious for this, and it's why I have not done one yet)??
My setup is; a Momo 2401 hub, with a sparco suede mod 383, 330mm wheel.
I LOVE this wheel, and it was the very FIRST thing I did to this car when I bought it new in Jan. 2000 (I had the parts waiting on the factory ordered build), as to me , the factory wheel KILLS, not only the looks, but the whole 'feel' of the car (and mine was even worse than everyone else's, as it was the base, plastic POS ).

depends on the state. I contacted my insurance company beforehand and they told me if any injury I have is concluded to have been caused by lack of airbag then they wont cover. But they could pretty much make that claim now with any injury I sustain in that car.

Hey jax, is the purpose of the quick release to be able to remove the wheel? Is that necessary for the install? I saw you posted in my other thread, the wheel looks good. Did you get all the stuff from that site or is there a distributor? What would you say your total cost for this project was? Thanks.

as far as cost I think I paid $280 for all the pieces and had to front like $180 for the steering wheel puller but you get it back when you return the kit. If you don't get the quick release you can do it for under $200.
Any other questions?

First things first I had to order off eBay after searching part numbers I found from their website. The quick release is not needed it's just to remove the wheel easily And a fun little gadget that right now that's all it is. It pretty much serves no purpose except for peace of mind in bad areas.
