Default Which Hood for LT1 Camaro

I am building a 1994 z28 camaro for my senior project. I will be painting it here shortly. I am going with the SS spoiler. So which hood should I get? Or should I just paint the stock one and spend 600 dollars elsewhere?

Where do I get the SS hood though? I was looking at Trufiber hoods but they say they are for v6 cars only.

All up to your wallet as far as whether to buy a hood or just keep the stock one. Don't think you can go wrong with either of those two options though, both look great on the LT1 cars. I think id go for the hardwood just for the fact that you're less likely to see anyone else with it, and it fits perfect with those body lines.. not as much of fan of that hood on 98+ cars

Always loved my Harwood. Picked it up in person at harwoods facility in Tyler, TX. Cool guys. Great product fit like a glove. I'd say it fit just as good as my vfn.

Stock and put $600 into something that matters...like suspension or brakes.

Ohh, in that case I would leave the hood stock and put the $600 in suspension or brakes.

which are you into, road course or autoX? I'm guessing the randomly specific suggestion is stemming from some bias towards your own personal use

**looks at smitty2919 threads.. sees multiple threads about roadcourse/autoX mods. lol. had a feeling.

I liked my glasstek. I felt the body line in it helped flow with the crown in the nose. Its on a friend's car now.

I was made aware this is the appearance section...so weight reduction to be faster is not a thought.

I'Ld say get Sunoco hood if you plan on pulling the stock fuel injected motor out later. If you go to a carb motor youg gonna have to cut your cowl to fit a dist and need the hood clearance. If not get a SS!!!

what are your goals for the car? what alternative purchases were you considering instead of the hood?

Ohh. I didn't realize you were speaking towards pretty suspension and brakes.

OP, you should get a new hood.
