Looking for some appearance ideas for my car.
Other then the obvious ::: needing a paint job::: I don't have 1800 to do it right now
What can I do to make my car look better
It's my dd
I'm thinking of removing the side molding.
Thinking of black wheels when I have that much funds available.
Needs lowered
I want to incorporate as much black as I can into the car
Black grill. Red and black emblem. <br/>Idk what type of lights I could do

For your car I would get black housing headlights and new tailights and some wheels and drop it and youll be headed in the right direction.

Step 1: polish those nasty foggy headlights up
Step 2: Plasti-dip the rims black for now till budget allows better rims
Step 3: Berger panel black out
Step 4: thorough cleaning and polishing of the existing paint to make it as nice as possible
or sell it and get a Trans Am, LOL.
I was down in your area 2 years ago next month (the one and only "road trip" I put this car thru), lets see if you can ID where from this photo (really wish I had this shot with how my car looks now).
maybe this shot with the black dip on the car will inspire some ideas for yours, think outside the box, use the dip to create custom graphics.

And I agree with Daniel, polish her up best u can. Harbor fright buffer and some pads and supplies for 85 bucks did a world if difference on mine, and its black. I think urs will shine up nice with some time in it. Check out junkman's paint correction videos on YouTube. Heck he's on here too and knows his stuff

Over the pin-striping, over defects, hell even over tools he left in the engine bay.
I bought ultimate compound and ultimate polish and all it did was turn my towels red and didn't bring it back.

Get rid of that plastic cheap looking antenna. Hawks third gen sales one that looks factory but it's shorter than the factory. Think it's like 25 bucks.

I'll take a look at the one you're talking about because with this short one I don't get my favorite radio station anymore.

If Maaco is pursued it should be only AFTER the car has been cleaned of all that rattle can crap and block sanded and primed.
My last honda had a Maaco job that started coming off the hood in under 2 years from when it was sprayed and the PO paid extra for prepping the surface of the old paint and all they did was sand the edges of all the old clear coat bubbles.
Remember a paint job is 90% prep work, a trained monkey could do the actual spraying part.
