Default Lt1 6le front bumper preorders

Hey guys, resantly

I came across a pic of the lt1 6le (6litereater) front bumper. Essentially this front bumper is the design of a 98-02 bumper that is made for the 93-97 camaro. I'm new to Camaros so this may be old news to some. I love the bumper and gotta have it. I got into contact with Mark from 6le and they are not currently making them BUT if they get a pre-order of 10 people they will make a batch... If I can gather 10 folks who want to place a pre-order the price would be $550 + shipping normal price on the site when they had them in stock a long time ago was $750. If you have not seen these bumpers or even just their site for that matter check them out. Such sick stuff 6litereaterdesigns.com and yes they are a sponsor here. Dm me or email me if interested justinvernooy@aol.com

I would read actual reviews on here first, the fitment was poor at best and required lots of body work to get them decent.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...diffusers.html

In this thread he said normally $600, its the last offering. Maybe he changed suppliers or some ****.

fitment wasn't as bad as I was expecting, and I have one of the earlier ones which were supposedly worse. I spent an afternoon with a dremmel and it fits pretty decent. when I bring the car to get painted, I will have the shop fine-tune it but I think it looks pretty good as is. IMO looks better than the factory LT1 front bumper

^^ That's a pretty good review right there.^^ any aftermarket bumper is going to need some adjustment. And like hokeplaya05 said it looks so bad ***.

now all that said, I would be VERY surprised if you can get 5 let alone 10 pre-orders for them on this site. I hate to say it but you may need to go to 4th gen fbody facebook groups to get those pre orders and even then I would be surprised if you got it. good luck

I have one on also, the last batch they made. It was a nightmare. Had a very reputable customizer install it and it's still not 100%. They had to work the **** out of it. New phone don't have pics yet.

Mine did not fit very well at first, I had to spend many hours fiddling with it to get it decent looking. Mine is one of the first runs which had issues with the mold that was used, and it had no mounting points for the turn signals so I had to make my own. I have it pretty good now but it's definitely no where near perfect.

yeah I spent most of my time with a dremmel working on fitting the turn signals, but the rest went fairly smoothly. I don't think they will ever fit "perfectly", but for the amount of time I spent on it I am very satisfied and cant wait to see what a professional body shop can do with it.

Totally new mold from new factory, hence needing the pre-orders to know there is actually interest in remaking this product...

I got a few bigger pages on instagram to post it up and I'm seeing some interest. Just waiting on some more commitment.

So its another roll of the dice? And when isn't something a pre-order from you? What's changed with the mold?

I personally dont like the looks of it. Its kind of gaudy? I really like the stock 93-97 z28 nose. Just my .02 i guess?

If mine fit perfect I'd never take it off but I'm not spending another 1000$$? to have reworked. Eventually the stock is going back on, even though I love the look of this thing.

How's it a roll of the dice?

Plenty of times, look at our website...

Different manufacturer.

We're dropping this board as the traffic is just non-existent... What will you do with your time when you don't have my threads to troll anymore???

How is it not? Look at the feedback vs the bs you spew. Keep crowd funding your crap, avoiding direct responses to questions, and being a yes man.

I'm not sure what I will do but I will gladly follow up with you when I find something. Thanks for caring!

Again, how's it a roll of the dice? Anyone with issues we offered replacements without issues. Some people bought blems knowing they needed work. Others didn't and if they had issues we offered to ship replacements.

The new manufacturer is still overseas (otherwise these would cost double here) but we've used them for our G8 Cowl hood and our Super Car Bumper for the LS1 with no issues.

No clue what you mean by a yes man... Who am I saying yes to when I'm the owner?

I'm just afraid in our absence you will have no one to gripe at about making new parts for 23 year old cars... #trolllivesmatter

You yes man your customers, churn out some overpriced garbage, and point the finger every direction you can except at yourself. You switch manufacturers claiming the quality will improve blah blah blah and its the same poor fitting, wavy garbage as before. What's the point of a replacement if its the same garbage?

Every 4th gen I keep from running your crap is a 4th gen saved....#protecttheinnocent
