Replacing bottom seat leather?

I ripped the bottom seat leather on my TA. What's involved with replacing the leather? Does the seat need to be completely taken apart?

find a passenger side seat bottom and swap it over... those are usually rip and sqiushed free

It's the passenger side I ripped.

a vendor is making OEM replacements for these on ebay.

And Yes, you'll have to take the seat apart to remove the bottom leather and replace it with the new. I've done it though, PITA but doable.

That's what I was afraid of. I did my Miata seat and it was a PITA.

I thought it was straightforward and easy to replace a seat lower. I had no issues. I bought my lower seat cover on ebay a few years ago. Think I paid about $50 for it.
