Default Z06 Brake Calipers?

Hey guys I have a NBM Z28 and right now I have silver grand sport hash marks and silver Z emblems. I recently vistied a guy in my home town that rebuilds wrecked corvettes and he has a set of Z06 brake calipers for sale pretty cheap. Do you think that the red calipers will look good on a navy blue car. I think they look good on the blue Z06's IMO. I was just wanting a second opinon on how they would look on my car..
Thanks

I personally think red goes with any color! With red calipers, you can't go wrong imho.

I think they'd look great, plus the small added benifit of a stronger caliper over stock. Plus I'm partial - I did a C5 brake upgrade on my SS already

I dont think they would look good. Maybe just paint over them NBM.

I agree with SSG--Z28, red goes with anything, car-wise. It's like, the "performance" color. I say go for it.

What color red, or shade of red would you use for a NBM car? I plan to paint mine red once i get my new rotors and pads, and am wondering what exact paint color to get as well as what the color code might be? What is the red that the Z06 calipers have on them already?

Thanks for the compliment. Plasti-Kote Bright Red Caliper Paint from Autozone. Used the dremel to grind the casting marks, primed, painted, added decals and cleared them. Its been almost a year and they still look great.

the most important thing to do is get everything as clean as possible. Even if you sand, grind, whatever, make sure you clean everything really good with Prepsol or some kind of prepaint cleaner before you shoot them with paint. Make sure there is'nt any brake dust and grime on them at all or the paint won't last very long.
