Ok I've got a question on this. Are you guys just ripping the molding off the car? Is there paint already underneath the modling that matches your car? Wouldn't ripping it off scratch that paint if it is there?
I'm interested in doing it, but just want to know if you guys had to repaint your doors after it came off, how involved of a process it was, etc.

It's just held on by 2 sided tape...
Very strong 2 sided tape though.
Yes there is paint under there. If you don't use anything sharp to remove it, the paint there will be cleaner than the rest of your car.
I used adhesive remover and quite a bit of 'elbow' to get the tape off the car.
Then I had to polish the car to get the newly exposed paint to blend with the rest of the car.
It's a good mod.

Can people post up pictures of their cars with the door molding taken off? I'm more interested in what Camaros look, specifically black ones. I want to see what it looks like before I start ripping stuff off my car.

I don't know what Camaros look like but I'd like to see that also. And as far as taking the molding off it was easy. 1) Heat the molding with a blow dryer, 2) Use fishing line to pull it on off , 3) Use WD40 to get the adhesive off. I also sprayed WD40 on my cars door and used a T-shirt and "Elbow Greese" and the stuff came right off.

I didn't have to use a hair dryer. I waited till like 2 in the afternoon after the sun had heated it up and it pulled right off... no dental floss or nothing. If you're good and take your time most if not all the adhesive will stick to the molding instead of the body.
Then clean it up and good to go.
Check out my car page.

It's the kind of mod that nobody really notices until you
point it out. It's a cleaner look if you know what you are
looking at, but it's not such a big difference to be scared of
doing it.
I have a bunch of these subtle mods to my Z. It looks
more or less stock, but I point out one or two little things
to folks and they 'get it'. Then they start noticing more
and more little things.

I definately like it better with them removed... I took mine off with a junk plastic credit card (old busch gardens pass) and I sharpened the edge on the bench grinder. I documented the process here: http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/252862/5
