Default Manta strip advice

Hey, I am wanting to get the manta strip for my ss hood. Possibly the rear strip as well. What would be the best way to go about this... Should I get the vinyl and have the shop try to copy it with paint... Or should i show a shop pictures and just have them paint it? Would like it black with a pin stripe.

I would ask who ever is going to cut out the vinyl if they would print out a stencil for your painter.

So you'd rather have it painted instead of the vinyl decal?

Ask them for the pieces need to use it as a stencil. They would be making the exact same cuts, just throwing away the opposite sections.

Glad that worked out for you. And that's always been where I've bought my decals.

Yeah thanks! I was going to just have a shop paint it from the way a picture looks but that seems pretty hard

Yes! Definitely. And I think a pin stripe always looks good on the rear. I have a whole file on manta deck stripes, but photo bucket decided to shut everyone down.

Not what you just asked for as far as trunk/spoiler goes, but here's a pewter car with satin Berger and gloss manta. A couple more pics on the second page. The gloss black flows nicely, especially if you have a black sail panel and tinted windows.
