Default Swapped the 2OTL for Borla Adjustable

Sorry, the car is kinda dirty and a typical haggard POS.

I've always been a big fan of the 2OTL system, other than for Trans Ams with the dual bumper cutouts. Wish SLP still sold this one.

Car looks very clean in the pics.

Thanks. Is it just me, or has this forum died a little? I remember posting threads back in the day and seeing 10 plus replies after not viewing it for a day or so.

Already sold the 2OTL. I ended up selling that for the exact price I bought the Borla for. In my opinion, the borla looks and sounds way better.

I hate the Borla tips. 2OTL is much simpler/cleaner.

IMO I don't like any tips at all on a 4th gen Camaro.

I have to agree with this, never been a fan of the square quad tips on the borla cat backs. I switched from a magnaflow to the spintech 2OTL catcback last year and love the look so much.

either way though, your car is wicked clean and looks great! swap those tips out for some corsa clones or something similar and it will be prefect

^ I agree as well, 2OTL is much better looking than Borla on the Camaros. As far as sound, 2OTL is too quiet with cats, but sounds great to me with an ORY.

i agree with corsa clones looking better, I had them on my old Z. I guess the borla ones don't bother me quite enough. I just couldn't get into the look or sound of the 2OTL so this was a win win for me.

I prefer the 2OTL. Just a classic look. I would of not sold that exhaust. I had a 2OTL and shouldn't of sold it. I have a GMMG decal that I will never ever part with. I dont care if someone offered me 100 bucks for it. There are just some parts worth holding on to. Your car looks really good man. I love the looks of early SS cars.

I guess I don't get the hype about 2OTL...in my opinion, it sounded way too quiet and not aggressive at all (I didn't have the cone of silence and I have ORY) and the look was meh.

It honestly sounded like a V6 on steroids. Even my borla is too quiet. You'd think with longtubes and ORY it would be louder. It doesn't really wake up until I open my cutout.

I like the way the Borla sounds at lower RPMS, but when I spin it up to 4-5k it's stil meh compared to that open cutout.

This will all change when I put in the heads/cam. I'm probably just going to do an electric cutout for now to be able to fine tune and adjust the sound easier.

I had SLP's aftermarket version of the 2OTL (which I believe is exactly the same as the factory version without the cone of silence) on my WS6 with an ORY and headers, plus a cam. While it definitely didn't sound like an open cutout, it certainly wasn't a V6 on steroids either. The exhaust note did get louder with the cam swap. I was quite happy with the sound, but the appearance just didn't look right with the Trans Am bumper....if I'd had this on a Camaro or Formula though, I never would have changed it.

I do agree that it's too quiet with stock cats, but with the ORY/headers/cam it sounded great.
