This steering wheel

Would this be wheel work in a f body? Does it need an adapter? Anyone one have it?

Yes it will need an adapter. Any wheel can be made to work in any car. Keep in mind if you live in a state with yearly inspections it will fail without the airbag.

Does anyone have a part number for the the adapter? And would the airbag light say on the dash?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, are they just general fitting or car specific? And are they called steering wheel adapter?

Steering wheel adapter is what they are called. They should be car specific. Maybe somebody else who has done this will chime in.

I have that same wheel in my Bird. Not sure on which adapter I used.

The adapter I used was a Momo 2041. It doesn't fit without modification. I had to cut about a quarter inch off the bottom, otherwise it interferes with the column. You have to remove the clock spring as well. There are a number of write-ups on how to replace the wheel. I would advise you search.

If you don't want the bag light on you can use a 2.2ohm resistor. If you want the other bag to work you need to use a high load 2.2ohm resistor. I have not done this to confirm, you can search here to find that too.
