I've been trying to get a reverse honey comb chop of the tail lights for a few months. Outer vents look good, middle seems a bit out of place though. I always liked that rear shot

Love that rear shot! I wonder what a TA would look like with a functional rear wing like that from the side? The center exhaust looks good too... but where does the license plate go then?

The rear reminds me of a beefier FD rx7, I dig it

I love the fixed headlight pic!! There is a guy on FB that is currently making a set of the above tails^^^^ and he says he will be able to produce and ship for around 400$ set. If they come out like these^^,, he will have my money*

Now I am finally doing my big build on the car and will be buying a TruFiber hood before I get it repainted. If I can bring myself to cut into a brand new reproduction hood, I will be removing the bar from the scoops. I'll angle the top half of the mesh up so that it pushes the lower part forward to meet the top of the bumper instead of having the scoops super deep on the lower edge (which would require filler material like on the Firehawk hood).

Just to show you how freaking close our ideas were, I did this 'chop back in 2003 (it even happens to be a white TA!):

I'm not a fan of the park bench but otherwise the rear shot looks great. I don't care for the front at all. The side openings are decent, but that front just looks wrong. It's a car with incredibly complex lines. To put parts on it that are very simple doesn't seem to mesh well with it.

yea i could be wrong but i swear i saw a reply from him that stated "kit will be around 7-800 when complete" ... my bad to him if that is wrong. it doesn't much interest me either, it just annoyed me a bit that he used the pic & a few people asked him about the car pictured & he was not responding -- he has since at least edited the IG post to say that the pic is a photoshop pic done by his friend
