makes me sick knowing my VFN sunoco won't be here till Thursday. How long did it take you guys to "fit" your hood ?

Its time and patience. Your will need two buddies to help hold the hood on each side while you bolt it on and adjust. Check out VFN's website, they have an installation video as well.GL

harder than it looks and you will curse a lot. In the end it is a fiberglass part and you will have to decide what compromise you want to live with. you'll know what i mean once you get it. if you can't deal with compromise, you'll find yourself doing a lot of cutting. I would say leave it in the sun and make sure it has cured.

Also my experience is w 93-97 and 98-02. I would rate the 93-97 hood a 5-6 and the 98-02 a 8-9 in terms of fit and quality. I've had both in my hands and can tell you there is a difference. Also, I bought my hoods in the 2011-2013 timeframe.

This is my second hood from VFN. The first one was their SS hood design and both times fitment was not too bad at all. I mean its a great fit for an aftermarket hood. I did not have to cut anything whatsoever.
