ecklers and others ....sell 93-97 foam which does fit 98-02 ....you can find a couple of vids on u tube about it
my son bought the last foam ecklers had the other day.....might want to bug them about when they are going to restock
that a new seat cover too....

is the foam compressed or breaking down or is it just sitting lower? It sits on thin wires which eventually cuts into the foam.. Put something between those wires and the foam. i I wrapped the wire "platform" in my seat base with cast-off section of metal screen and wrapped that with aluminum foil tape to keep a flexible base that can no longer cut through the foam. I basically used stuff I had lying around to do it and unfortunately didn't take pics. Thick burlap or canvas or felt may work as well. It needs to be something flexible but stronger or at least more cut resistant than the foam.
However, while googling for a picture, I found that Classic Industries sells the seat foam for a 1995 Firebird which might be the same seat foam as the base Firebird & Formula cloth seats from 1993-2002

Thanx for the link. I do not see where they sell just the seat bottom. If I could get the bottom I would experiment on one for sure, my seats are shot, just the foam, I picked up a set of OEM take offs a couple of years back from a guy in Detroit.
