Anyone have the Euro Halo Head lights?
http://www.mytightride.com/mytightride/chca19hahe.html
I dont know if i want them or not, i dont think they are all that. Only 'different' and not tacky which is what i aim for. Does anyone have pics with this on their car? And can explain how that little middle circle light works?

I think the Black and Clear one's look way better than the Chrome and Clear one's. Get the Black and Clear one's. Here is a pic of how they work at night.
I hope who ever own's this car doe's not mind me posting these pic's.

Do a search for "Halo" in the "Aperance & Detailing" section.
(Go "Advanced" to limit the search)
You'll find plenty of info and pictures.
If I remeber correctly, there were pictures of red, blue, black, and silver camaros with the chrome and black units.

i did the search and found alot of info about the headlights...what i didnt understand is all the talk about splicing the wires with the fog wires. you do this so that when you turn on your fogs, JUST the halo comes on, or all the lights? and is it a direct plug up? or is there other splicing that needs to be done?

If you splice the Halo into the Fog lights, the Halo will be on when the Fog Lights are on. You can splice it into the DRL if you want. Then it would be on when the DRL are on (almost all the time). Or you could get creative and go a custom route.

I'll answer your question anyway.
There are some Non-Popup headlight kits available but they cost $1000 and are not HID. RKSport had a kit, but I am not sure if they still have it. You can also convert the Popup headlights to HID. There are a few ways to do this. The easiest is to get a conversion housing that fits in the stock headlights location. You can find it at http://www.autooptiks.com/front.htm. If I remeber correctly, low beam is 4703 and high beam is 4701. The housing will allow you to use more modern headlight bulbs like the Camaro instead of sealed beam headlights like the Firebird. At this point you can get Halogen bulbs or rebased HIDs and ballasts to put in the housing. Although this is possible, it wont produce the best beam pattern for HID.
If you do a search on this topic you'll find many posts by people more knowledgeable than myself.
I'll post this same message in the thread you started.
