Where to get best headlights for 98-02 Camaro
Hey everyone, I was wondering where to get the best headlights for my 2002 Camaro Z28. I want the “depo whistler” headlights but I see them from multiple places and don’t know where the best place to get them is. Help appreciated! Another thing is the best way to black out the orange blinker. I think I am going to get tint and just tint the blinkers but suggestions are appreciated.

I don't think it matters where exactly you buy them from, they are all made by Depo. Starting about ~10-12 years ago, even the factory replacements (bought from GM) are from Depo.
Just be prepared for the fact that none of the Depo lights fit as good as the OEM versions. They seem to be made about ~5% smaller than the originals, so some fabrication will be needed to get fitment/gaps to be as good as stock (and even then, it's still not quite as good IMO). There's a really great write-up thread on here somewhere that illustrates how to push the mounting areas further forward to take up some of the extra gap, and it looks much better than it otherwise would out of the box, but if you're really picky you will still notice that the fitment is not quite the same as OEM. I'll see if I can dig up a link to said thread...

I'm looking at a pair of similar looking headlights on "Headlights Depot" right now for like a hundred dollars. Surely these aren't real DEPOs right?

I do agree that the Depos can be made pretty decent with some effort, such as the methods linked above. But I've never seen them bolt in nicely without said effort.

The OEM lights work a lot better with your car because it is silver. Mine is Monterey Maroon so I think the black housing works better with the color. I love your wheel choice, are those from American Racing?

Does anyone have any experience with this blinker tint stuff? From what I have read it isn't worth it to replace the lenses because they melt easily. I figured this would be a good idea for 20 bucks but I am not sure.

I had to do some adjusting on my aftermarket stockers, but they turned out fine. Not nearly as clean as stockers, but it looks a lot better then it did. Excuse the stuff on the dash. It was drying after I installed its replacement.

Low beam bulbs:
LED are for High beam only.
Beware LED headlights/Lights can cause unwanted battery drain. Flickering if not installed with a resistor to act like regular bulbs.

You don't need resistors and there isn't any odd drain when using LED in headlights. Just make sure to get LED that are arranged in a thin strip that looks like the original filament like the original bulb. Most of the ones for sale now are that style but there are still some out there with odd shapes. Check reviews and when you get them compare the resulting beam pattern to the original bulb to make sure the beam is still the same shape and didn't change. Also, if the LED body/shaft is rotatable, make sure the stalk is vertical with the LEDs shining left/right for best beam and output.
