Default Tailpanel Mod - Should I on NBM ????

I was thinking of getting my tailpanel painted black(satin finish), Berger-style. Since my grille insert is black already with brushed aluminum inserts, and I have black hockey stix, I thought it would match well. Should I or leave it as it is???

I think that it would look nice since you have the black stripes..

That's the blend I'm going with on my car..

Satin Black Grille
Black Stripes
Satin Berger Panel...

Go for it man..

Dude, Mako, please stop posting these pics of your car. Every time you post, I lose 1-2 hours of my day just staring at it, and 13-15% of pride for my car. Every time I think you have reached perfection, you go one step further. Which in turn, MAKES me (not just influences me) buy something else for my car. I hold you completely responsible for this severe debt accruing through mods for my car.

Bottom line: You make me feel like the fat kid in class and your car F#@$ing owns .... that is all.

LOL thanks dude - sorry about the growing expenses, but it's for a good cause right? I have to say that's the same thing that motivates me - I look at someone elses car (most recently, GMMuscle's) and say damn why doesn't my car look like that! And out comes the wallet......

Mako, I think you should leave it as it is. I don't really see the craze of the rear panel being painted, I think it looks ugly and out of place. It reminds me of someone with a Honda who can't decide what color they want their car. Looks much better as it is now than it would black. And especially being on NBM, it would look like it wasn't supposed to be there, like you were waiting for it to get painted

I agree 100% I have never been a fan of the "Berger" style rear panel, but especially on your car. Car looks awesom as it sits

Do you have pics of your extra tail panel? I'm looking for one to do on my NBM SS also.
