Default Polished My Drive Shaft, Pics, -->

I decided to start detailing the undercarriage now then by winter finish up with the top of the engine.

I even painted the ends of the DS and sealed off the rust. I know many folks will never see the DS but I hope to go to a couple big shows this winter and want every edge I can get with the judges.

Just sharing a few pics...

Before...

After...

Trying to get it all to blend together...

Thumbs up

Todd, The shaft looks great , is there a reason you left the decal on the shaft?

I think it's time you got yourself a www.backyardbuddy.com or at least a www.kwiklift.com , keep up the great work.

Thanks for the compliments. I admit I did not detail every little scratch on it but no one will be inches away.

Al, stop it! I like having a sore back, lol. I always think, yea I want one then end up buying something else. I left the sticker on just to show it is orginal, why, I really do not know.

f-bodman I didn't think you had anything left to polish... , Guess I was wrong.
I have one more thing up my sleeve...if I can pull it off.

What's up with that rearend cover, Todd??? I must say I'm very disgusted in your lack of attention to detail.

The driveshaft looks awesome though!

Everyone busts my chops about that, lol.

The plan is to sand it down, re-paint it, and replace the bolts with polished stainless ones. I do not want a TA cover (I think it will take away from looking at my polished exhaust) nor do I want a 12 bolt, just not into racing.

I have had it in the rain a few times going to show & shines.

Thanks again for the compliments!

Todd

What are you gonna do next, polish the block? Or have you already done that, the heads certainly look polished from what I can see.
