Well besides the obvious wheel/lowering like mentioned above,

I'd go with some export taillights. They are so hot.

And please leave your corner lights the way they are. I think amber is gorgeous. Lookin good!

Absolutely. Hockey stick stripes look great on red Zs with chrome wheels and black back panel. Oh, I'm not biased or anything though.

Personally though, even though I don't have them on my car (I don't think it fits my "theme" very well), I think your car would look really good with the diamond clear turnsignals. It'd go with the billet grille, the chrome badges, the chrome wheels and the stock chrome headlights really well. Oh and removing the side molding helps a lot too. Check this out:

I I know you said don't mention wheel. But wheels play a big part in the direction you want to go with your car. If I were you I would put black zr1's on the car since you have the berger panel. then paint your billet grille black. Then SS Hood with the black stinger stripe on the top of the scoop. Then put black hash marks on the driver's side fender. I think that would look killer and your car will have that performance look to it.
Basicallly you just need to decide if you want a performance looking car or show bling bling. If show is your choice leave the grille alone and get some sort of hood and of course some sort of chrome wheels. Either way your car is still nice.

I have to admit, I had them on my car but took them off. I didn't have a billet grille though either (well I have a black one but you know what I mean). They really look best on silver, pewter, white and black cars.

im definately removing the molding, your car looks great! how hard was it? was there any repainting involved? my d-side has a nasty gouge in one place of it that was touched up. it would be nice to get rid of it. thats a clean look!

the black Zr1's is what im planning on, hopefully in a few months. and this billet grille has got a few highway nicks on it, so i was thinking of replacing it with the black stull. no SS hood here, ive been looking for a good looking cowl. then maybe some black inserts down the cowl. then maybe hockey sticks....

im really not about bling bling at all. its just that there are 4 other red Z's that looked exactly like mine and im trying to gallop away from the pack! ive got a small pot of money set aside for LT's, stall, and N20, and those will bebought before any serious appearance mod. i.e. wheels,hood,ect.....

thanks for the input guys!

Thanks! Yeah I needed no repainting at all (and I have a 98!). Didn't cost a thing except for a couple of blistered thumbs (the adhesive is really strong). It's quite easy - you just pull of the molding and keep pushing the adhesive off with your thumbs. Makes a lot of difference and you can't beat the price.

Definitely worth the blisters.

No, I'm not talking about the clear altezza's. I meant the ones with the vertical sections. Anyone know what I'm talking about? They're from Europe.

Edit: the ones in post #20 in this thread:
