Factory stickers inside door jams...
Have any of you guys taken these off? Mine are faded pretty badly and starting to peel and every time I open the door it JUMPS out at me. Is it bad to take them off? Can I get replacements?

I was looking at the parts catalog for my camaro last night and it listed the GM#'s for all the stickers in the engine bay. Didn't pay attention to see if it listed the door jam stickers, but I'll look tonight.

I believe if you call SLP they can send you new ones. Make sure you have your vin# ready for them. Otherwise you cant buy anything that came on a SLP altered car without it.

Remove the old labels, and have a graphic company or someplace recreate a set of labels identical to the ones you have. A good shop can make them w/sticky paper or you can use double sided tape for regular paper. That part of the car inside the door jam isn't waterproof to the elements so make sure the labels can handle it. Good luck!!!

I would probably think about getting the replacements, one way or another, and leave them off until time to sell, or show the car. If they came off or faded once they will probably do it again.

Stickers on the inside of Drivers door are.....
The stickers that are on the inside of the DRIVERS DOOR are Federal Stickers and cannot be replaced. They also should not be removed. No, you cannot buy them on ebay or anywhere else.

You shouldn't really remove them. When I was rebuilding a car they look at those stickers and if I didn't have them there were some pretty hefty fines in case I didn't have them. Also if they are not in bad shape you could possibly just spray some clear over them and it would seal them under the clear. I don't think the clear will eat at the plastic covering of the sticker, but it is just another one of my ideas
