5-8 depending on prices in your area. if you stripped the car and brought it to them i pieces (the most labor is trimming out the fenders/doors/hood/decklid/jams) then it might be less. depends on color too. a quart of white can be as cheap as 30 bucks while the same brand/quality red could be hundreds.

There is ALOT of prep work to do it right. I helped out my buddy as much as I could tearing the car appart. Before the new engine went in, he came and sprayed the engine bay. Door and trunk jams were next then the rest of the car. It will cost some $ if it is done right.

If you get it done properly, not leaving any of the old color anywhere in the door jams or engine compartment, then you're looking at $7k-8k definitely. Some of the guys in here saying you can get a good one for $3k-4k are going to get a **** job. If you only spend that much, then:
-the prep job won't be adequate and the paint will eventually look terrible
-it will chip easily, bubble, or peel
-it won't be finished right and won't look near as good as it could
You're looking at $6k likely for the cheapest decent job. If you're going to do it, may as well do it right and spend $8k or so.
