So you must have decided to go with the turn signals inside the housing as well, instead of just the hi/lo beams? Im still in either way.

Still in here, but would prefer them without blinkers.

im stoked to see how these look! although i dig the stock lights. sometimes that custom car look helps separate u from the pack. and it just looks damn good. good luck with this project guys.

Just speaking from experience, any type of fixed light for the LT1 style would have to bulge out due to the very shallow headlight profile. It would have to bulge like the C5R lights.

Would you want that?

The alternative would be to use a very shallow and short light like this:

They are Hella driving lights. You would need 2 side by side for high and low beam, but I'm not sure the LT1 has the width.

So would you want a bulged up headlight?

heres an rendering i made about a month ago and posted on another site about non-popups, but this thread is the best yet for completing effort and design of a non-popup.
This is a rendering on the non-popup lights and as well as (lil' off topic) a carbon fiber splitter. (it would be nice if phamspeed or another company could produce/market a splitter for 4gen's.. )

Looks great! A little too Mercedes, but still, excellent rendering!!! If the covers can flow smooth like that with the bumper and hood, that would be awesome!

That thing is a splitter.
Here's how they work.

You would need to address engine cooling before you could bolt one on though.
Sorry .

They are SSR gt3 or gt2s but anyways, I think for the lt1 cars they would look got the c5r looking lights. I called up breathless and asked them if they would custom make me a set for my car, i told them maybe the can modify or us somthing like what the did for the lt1 vets. Needless to say i would shell out alot of cash, but they act like jerks didnt give me the time of day. I dont understand they pretty much make there money off these kits and to tell me my bussnes is no good to them sorry ill go some were else.( sry for spelling or grammer im sick and have had no sleep)

These would be a cool mod. I'd like to get rid of the pop-ups eventually, but the existing kit is too expensive and of inferior quality, from what I've heard.
