What do you guys mean by "tint". You certainly don't want to reduce the light output. Here in TX, tinting your headlights is illegal and can be easily spotted by johnny law. You'd get pulled over for sure.

Do you mean some other kind of tint?

I agree with not wanting to reduce the light output by tinting them, but why worry about cops? Since T/A's normally have popups, if they're tinted and can't see the projectors then they'll just assume they're closed.

ahh, disreguard what I said... On another note, if you had a dark colored car and the bases/housings for the projectors were painted same color, they'd kinda blend in... I know after a while of having them on my car I'd be tempted to put 1 coat of the spray tint, just to make them a hair darker...

I'd like to see a rough design picture from them also.

Looks like its all gone to **** over at Phamspeed for awhile, oh well so much for a headlight kit. Guess they bit off more than they could chew?? Not trying to hate on anyone but it seems like this kind of **** happens alot in the aftermarket industry, lots of promises and lots of waiting.

you say "every second of the day"... and refer to a post that's almost 3 weeks old. The previous post which also said "we're working on it" was a month before that. Just sounds like it isn't really at the "top" of the priority list, as previously stated. If it wasn't for LT1-7's assurance that it's only a matter of time, I'd probably believe that these headlights wouldn't ever ship.

There's no reason anyone should get mad at Phamspeed. If you are mad, then just make them yourself and see how long it takes. Or go buy the Breathless one's for $1000.

For the rest of us, we will wait and see what happens. I'm just glad there are other choices than the ones I mentioned above.

The company just lost 50% of its two man workforce. Go read their posts in the FI section. The one guy that is left is swamped with turbo kits and isnt even taking orders anymore. Im sure this headlight kit is dead in the water for now. Who knows maybe he will chime in??

That's too bad that it's down to one guy. Anyways, sounds like it won't ever see the light of day. Too bad for us as well.

Im sure someone is going to do this soon, maybe it will be Phamspeed?? Anyway I didnt want to make them sound bad, everyone likes their turbo work. just reporting the set back. I think he has a new partner now so who knows maybe it will happen. Was hoping to hear from them in this thread by now. I think a fiberglass "enclosure" type light with independant projectors like the corvette kits is very do-able for a reasonable price but it will probably get trickier if a clear lens is involved. Even the BP kit without the lens and fan is decent but just not for the money.

Judging from the quality of their turbo kits, I'd say a serious "fabricator".
