That is tight, here is another version. As for it being just a play on the C6, it's a fellow GM product, there's nothing with it being close to that.

I guess you were refering to my comment. I didn't say they were a play on the C6 design, I said they WERE the C6 design, right down to the shape. The C6 lights were copied and pasted onto the TA body. That is not a negative comment, just an observation. The shape of the TA headlight is more of a parallelagram when viewed from the front, so the C6 would not fit at all.

I think the only reason someone used it was because it is on another GM car. By itself it is an ugly design. If I were going to steal a design I would want to skip right to the supercars.
How about this Bugatti:

Now that's sweet. The Porche GT and Lambo murcielago also have some real nice headlights. There's a hundred different ways to make custom headlights. I just wish I know what LT1-7 was up to.

10-4, it's all good then. I thought you were taking a dig at them. My bad.

I'm glad GM finally put some good projector style of lights on the vette. Projectors rock!

I've got some sweet BMW E46 projectors waiting to go in my TA right now. HID kit is on the way. I just need to get some type of housing to put them in.

Phamspeed, if you are using sealed projectors then Im guessing that the housing wont be sealed. This would probably mean that moisture would be a problem under the lexan cover. Are you going to use a fan like Breathless? If so could you design the housing to also work without the lexan cover too? I would rather have them exposed than to have that fan in the housing. I am very interested in your kit however and give major credit to anyone tackling this project!

I'd LOVE to see the blinker/DRLs incorporated in the housings... Not only would it change the whole look of a 'bird coming down the road, but it'd also eliminate the damn crappy factory signal housings from ALWAYS leaking/foging/shorting bulbs. Not to mention turning yellow as well.

My vote without a doubt is for signals in the housings. Anything close to the pictures above would be sweet!

Hmmm ... that looks like a kit you would buy off ebay. I'm not putting down your desing but it looks like the kit you can get for the focus or japanese cars for $130. Now, the thrid light doesn't necessarily have to be a blinker, it can be a very low beam light like the lexus GS 300 has, meaning it doesn't even light up the road but is still there for safety. I dunno what I'm talking about

I follow you on this. My g/f's 02 Civic has the very low beam lights along with the parking lights. I actually had to replace the bulb in it and they're 194s, so they're very small. Looks kinda cool though when the parking lights are on when she remote starts the car.

I think the picture of the C6 lights is just too busy. Too much for me. Less is more (not to say I like that MSpaint photoshop thing!) It definately needs to take up the whole housing whatever is in there...

Ditto that. Last one. I want to see some prototypes! Does anyone know if they said when they're due to come out? I've been watching this thread, but don't remember...

i think dual Hella 90's with a black or CF background would look the best. similar to breathless, but with dual rounds.

exactly or body colored even... I'd like it if you had the ability to remove the lexan and housings and just paint the surround.

I'd be going for the 90mm D2S (I think) HID housing for the low beam.
