Default Fog lights inspired by InfiniteReality

These are the same fog lights from APC that InfiniteReality used, I hooked up the halo's as well and opted for 100W bulbs instead. Mainly because I couldn't find any 75W bulbs like he used. I chose to take pics of the red and blue only, the rest just didn't look all that good. The hood is up because I have not completly finished hooking up the swith for the halo's so I was using the extra battery post for quick hook-up. The two pics where you can see the light the fogs give off, one was taken from the hood and the other was taken where the hood and the bumper cover meet, both times I used no flash so you could see what the bulbs themselves do and it was 6 PM when I took these. I added a few others that I thought turned out allright. I realize now I should have turned the lights off for some of the pics but ah well. I'll do that next time. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Thanks. It wasn't a hard install. Worst part was getting the factory lights out. Was kind of like the square peg in a round hole analogy, just took some time.

Looks awesome. So those are multiple color halos..? I'm kind of confused, do you switch colors with a switch? Anyways, looks really good!

Yes, push the button once and the halo's come on in a color, push again to cut them off...repeat till you get the color you want. There are like seven colors and one setting where it flashes all the colors. That might be ok for a car show but all the different colors look a little ride-istic. I'll stick with the red or the blue.

The button and all wiring needed for the halo's come in the box with the fog lights. I think all the halo's actually are is some led's and some fiber optics, if even that. I wish I could take credit for wiring a switch like that. I was lucky to not wire myself to the car during the install.

blackk99ssm6: Thank you and it's 20%, I guess the pics make it a lot darker looking than it is in person.
99Ws6TransAm: I got mine from Advanced Auto for $60 but I'm sure you can find them at just about any parts store. If you want to go to a brighter bulb you will need a realy which can be found in the same section as all the fog lights. Just follow the directions on the back on how to wire the relay in.

I researched new fogs for WEEKS before I found a set that was by far the closest stock size. These are only 1/8" smaller than stock, not that you can tell once installed. I know lots of people used the 4" and I didn't care for the non-stock look. If I was going to do it, I want stock-looking...
