i dont think the 200mph guages are overlays. if i remember correctly you have to send in your gauge cluster to have it recalibrated and to have the 200mph faces installed.

I' m interested in this as well. I noticed someone else bought the "DMS" version, do they have a website? Also, does anyone know where the mileage is stored? Is it in the computer, or the cluster itself? I can't afford down time on the car, so I would like to get another cluster to send in, but I want my mileage to be correct.

 

Not entirely sure where the mileage is stored. I have had very good luck with my conversion...turnaround time was about a week (give or take) and the quality is top-notch.

Damn I like those.How did you get the SS emblem on them? Can i possibley get the 30th Anniversary emblem put on them?

 

accurate speed readings, its well known that even stock, these cars surpass the 165 mph limit the stock clusters have.

 

Why put Dual Exhaust on a V6, Why put big wings, it's his car, and he wanted it...This site is suppose to be a form of support not flaming...I have the 200MPH faces as well. Love them I got them through Eric @ DMS, they are the same thing as the Granatelli, Eric just had a GP going at the time...You still send your cluster to Granatelli, even though you bought them through DMS.....

The only thing I don't like is the blue lighting, now I need to find some different LED's to put behind the faces. I got the factory look, the black face, but I'm having a Z06 overlay installed over them to give the checkered appearance to the guage faces....

MTheGodFather, I'm sure it's just a sticker, have a local vinyl shop make your sticker, and place it on the face then put the bezel back on.

 

As mentioned above, the SS logo is cut out of vinyl...I bought it from a member of this site...along with the T/A bezel. However, I don't think she is making them anymore. You could check with Stunner Graphics (sponsor) or Brent Franker...

But that's just what ive heard.

 

I have them and they're awesome. Very accurate too. Yes DMS is the only ones that sell them. Virtually anyone who has one got them through DMS. Give eric a shout and he'll help ya out. If you buy them through Granatelli it'll cost you like $350+ or something like that. I got mine through DMS for something like $225 + shipping and that included the installation and precision calibration.

 

you cant get them in stock trans am style can you? black/red lighting?

If Im not mistaken I think mileage is actually stored in both the cluster AND the PCM...
