getting new paint, need ideas!

Later this week I am going to take my car in to get a new paint job but I'm not sure what looks good. I'm not going to do black or white and there are alot of midnight blue camaros around where I live so I would want to do somehting different. If you have any pics/suggestions it would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks!

Might want to get some body work done to get the panels and hood lined up before you paint.

yeah yeah i am getting body work done at the same time...i got a new front bumper cover and im getting the paint/body shop to get the hood flush and then they'll paint it all... thanks for pointing out the obvious tho

SOM is a great color but i was wondering how some darker colors would look?

If you want a different color that is dark, I have always loved the Black Rose color that were on the 94 anniversary Corvettes. Its a deep deep purple that looks black about 10ft away, with a medium amount of metallic.

yeah veryyy dark red or blue would be really good lookin.. does anyone have a pic of a car with some of these suggested colors?? thanks!

i always have loved a black cherry for a dark color, and a electron blue for a bold color. that orange posted earlier is awsesome, but looks a bit too bright.

Check out mine. Red orange Metallic. 96U I believe from gm.
It is rather dark, almost maroon except when in direct sunlight,
then it turns into orange. Hope it helps.

Anyone ever seen a car repainted (and done well) but had the nooks left alone (like in the doors, under the trunk, under the hood, etc). Kinda think it could look cool repainting my black car some kind of metallic silver but leaving the inner stuff black.

yeah that would look sweet unless ppl mistake it as unintentional

thats not a bad idea though.. green+silver would look cool i think...mayyybe

those look sweet but i am a poor college student so im going with a simpler (more simple maybe?? i do engineering not english lol) paint scheme. ill either go a solid color or maybe a stripe.
