My 94 TAhas the exact same mounting points for the seats, and the interior is the xact same, but the seats themselves appear to be smaller, like they dont have as much padding. Maybe its just because theyre old as the hills...

I am 6'2'' 290 and I am damn sure the T/A is smaller in some way, I cant fit in a trans am, the seat is too small and my n*tz are crushed from the sides being too close. I have no probs with a camaro. This goes for 3rd and 4th gens.

TA's seem more cramped because the seats have a little more meat to them, plus the side bolsters and lumbar supports in the seats can make you have a tighter feel. Also the door speakers stick out from the door, while the camaro's speakers are flush with the door panel. I like my seat better because it feels more secure than a camaros.

I have power seats, in my camaro if I put the seat all the way back and tilt the back down and the front up so the seat is tilted back, its way more than enough leg room, I have to push the seat up so its comfortable. Im 6'2 btw

im 6'5, and i have no problem sittin in my 99 SS with the seat all the way back, and it tilted back. But my friends Trans am, i have alot harder time fitting. I think it is because of the lumbar supports and the way the speaker stick out.

I got a friend who's 6'7" 330 lbs and he drives an LT1 Camaro. When he sits im the passenger seat of my brother's WS6 he moves the seat all the way back and his knees are on top of the dash. I don't know if he'd be able to get in the driver's seat.

Either the seat in my '97 camaro was mounted about 3-4" farther back or the TA (present car) just has a more cramped interior. That's the first thing I noticed with the new car, quite a bit less leg room.

I put Firebird seats into my Z28 a while ago because the stock Camaro seats simply are the worst things ever invented. My butt always went numb because it felt like you were sitting on cardboard. The lumbar always aggrivated my back.
The Firebird seats are much superior. More padding on the seat, lumbar that supports my back, and they do hold you in the seat a whole lot better. I don't notice things such as leg room or head room since I'm only 5'6"
Another funny thing happened today. My old man sunburned his head riding in my car with the t-tops off.

Well my 1987 TA had far more interior room than my 2002 does. However the Camaro is about the same as my 2002 TA. It depends on the seats, and the adjustments of those seats mainly.
