polished hood struts (pics)

I've been meaning to polish up these hood struts for a while now. It turned out pretty nice. I think i'll probably do the same for the ones under the hatch.

Just a pic of the car sunday at a show after wash, clay, polish, glaze, and wax.

Looks great! Did u use paint stripper to remove the black off
the strut?

yeah, thenebula.com looks like its down. if they arent back later ill rehost them somewhere else, but it should be back just fine.

also, no i didnt use paint stripper. the 150grit paper took the paint off easy.

Just an fyi, it's not paint that is on the struts. I'm not sure what it is exactly but when I did them I went right to the buffing pads and skipped the sandpaper. It came right off. So you might not need to start at such a low grit sandpaper. The same type of coating was on the fuel rails, no sanding necesary, just polishing.
