Default Did the "CE" mod

Well, finally decided to do it and I got pics at every step.

Heres how it looked when I finshed sanding the first time:

Heres how it looked after i cleaned it with acetone and realized i should sand it better:

Then I cleaned with acetone and sprayed first coat of primer:

Then i sprayed two more coats:

Then I painted it with three coats at 30min. intervals and let it sit overnight. I removed the masking tape the next morning and this is what it looked like:

And here's one that I like:

Sorry 'bout the long post.

I used 400 and then wiped it down with acetone and primed it. Its still pretty smooth but it doesnt have a glossy finish at all.

If your in Riverside sometime, we could meet up and i'll show you.

If you do it properly, primer clear etc it will be nice. It just wont last forever, but when it costs $20 who cares if you hvae to do it again every few years to keep it mint.

It is flat black I used, with the flat black I didnt feel to bad about spray paint. I dont know if the gloss would come out as good using spray paint though.

I like the way the flat black looks, arent the Collectors Editions' flat black also? I'm very satisfied considering I spent less than $20 dollars.
