Corvette Fuel Rail Covers on a TA
are the corvette valve covers/fuel rails (iv heard them called both) off of a corvette go on an LS1 TA as is? or is there some modifying I'll have to do? are they all the same? or is it another case of it depending on the year and stuff.

i spent like 100 and sumthing on ebay for brand new fr covers for a vett to go on my trans am and there was a ton of cutting and it looked like crappola!!! i recomend not doing it there are fr covers now made for f bodys no cuttin no nothing just click on and be done!! do that instead

Got my vette covers from Speed INC. My mechanic put mine on he did some cutting but they came out great. Plus i didnt have to wait long, had them from speed inc. in about 3-4 days and were put on the next day. Good luck,,

I got mine for $45 shipped and cut them myself. A dremel tool and some of the disks and sanding wheels should do it. I've seen several write ups on here on how to do it. Also, most of the cutting is on the back (where you can't see) so they still look good in there.

Some people have to cut them, some people get away without cutting them by making other modifications like removing the AIR tubing etc.
The way to get around it, is to simply cut the covers so they will fit all the LS1 F-body's. As mentioned above the cut areas are almost all under the cowl & won't be seen that well anyway.
