are the corvette valve covers/fuel rails (iv heard them called both) off of a corvette go on an LS1 TA as is? or is there some modifying I'll have to do? are they all the same? or is it another case of it depending on the year and stuff.

You will have to do some cutting, do a search and maybe you can find a write-up on it.

I got mine for $45 shipped and cut them myself. A dremel tool and some of the disks and sanding wheels should do it. I've seen several write ups on here on how to do it. Also, most of the cutting is on the back (where you can't see) so they still look good in there.

Some people have to cut them, some people get away without cutting them by making other modifications like removing the AIR tubing etc.

The way to get around it, is to simply cut the covers so they will fit all the LS1 F-body's. As mentioned above the cut areas are almost all under the cowl & won't be seen that well anyway.

Good Luck! PM if you need more info, ...
