My buddy just brought some for his little Mitsubishi car. THat was the first I've ever heard about them. I hooked it up to a 12 volt ac wall charger and was surprised to see how bright they are, so much so, that I'm thinking of putting them on all the way around. They should last forever.

Since I have to drive in the land of idiots...those are bright enough so someone couldn't give the lame excuse "I didn't see the brake lights". Even the legally blind driver that hit me couldn't have made that excuse.

must check on ordering and fit...

I had red ones in my last car, and it made them a bright, but very deep red. I'd imagine white ones might be brighter, but maybe a little less red if it even makes a difference.

Had no idea Josh (and no, I'm not blonde!) he isn't on the board much - I still would prefer to have something BRIGHTER THAN SUNSHINE to let ppl know my foot is on the brake for a reason
Anyone in our group that has done this? Haven't seen mention of it????

The company that manufactures those LED's specifically recommends red behind red, white behind white, amber behind amber, etc....
I had white behind my amber and you coudn't see squat. Put the refractor ambers behind them and it was night and day, as were the rest of them. My $.02. I have all of the same colored LED's behind the color of lense in all possible light sockets.

I have those in my brake lights. They are very bright. Very happy with them. I got mine off of eBay.
