Default Looking for some new appearance mods

Hey, well right now i have my 18's, eibach 2" drop kit, all the red accents on the decals and not sure what next. I think my exterior is done, i want to keep it real clean with not too much going on and i think the black base with red accents sets it off nice. Under the hood.... Anything cool i can do? I have the corvette fuel rail covers, red strut tower brace, and the suncoast ram air box and optima red top battery. I was wondering if there is any blank, non vette, fuel rail covers i can get and paint them something interesting. Also what are valve covers? I found some chrome ones on eBay???? Any suggestions for anything to do as appearance for my TA?

you could always paint/polish your calipers and put some TA decals on them. some slotted/drilled rotors would also be nice. some others would be window tint, clear side markers, red anodized vents for the hood and sideskirts. some guys on here have had some really nice lid/FRC's painted to match with a common stripe or color theme, they turned out awesome. try a search for them, might give you some good ideas. valve covers, well, they cover your valves... they are on top of your heads, but i think your FRC's would cover them up.

Ok thanks, well i forgot to add, i have my windows tinted already. Yea i am going to get my calipers red i nthe near future. I dont think i can paint my ram air box considering its open reveiling the filter. Also my side markers are already black tinted. Think my side and ws6 vents in red would be too much? Also, no where i can get those jsut plain, no vette, FRC's so i can paint them? Any ideas for interior? Im not big on painting my stuff. Anything cool?

You are done with the body as far as I am concerned. Maybe some Stainless or Red PONTIAC fill-ins from afterthoughta auto---->. I think with your color scheme, some torch red Z06 FRC's would look sick. Im in the process of doing mine exactly like yours but instead of red im using gunmetal metallic. As far as the interior goes i think some simple embridered headrest and a MBA or hurst shift ball.

You can also get the FRC's at afterthoughts auto too.

He's already got red FRCs, he was just wondering where he could find blank ones for a custom look. Instead of doing that, just fill in where it says Corvette, and then do what you want. It'll be cheaper than going and getting new FRCs and making them fit.

Polished valve covers arent needed as your FRCs cover them up, and add a bit of flair to the engine bay already. There's still a bunch more you can do, but depending upon how much you want to spend will be a factor. You can drop a bunch in bling'n out the engine bay, polish some things, add a build plate etc.

Yea, well what should i use to fill in the Corvette on the FRC's? I am looking to make some kind of black/red trans am resign on it. I kinda wish i had a lid right now so i could paint that but i think my ram air is nicer o nthe performance. Anyone know if i can change out the purple filter in it for a red one? Also what can i do to had some bling in there. All i see are like 2 pump htings that i could polish up and like my TB. I dont really want to really get into disassembling a ton of stuff but want to make it look really friggen awesome.I think getting the vents in red would be too much. I like how just my decals are red, sets it off but not too much so it still looks clean and slick. Im kind of wishing my rims were chrome, think i should get them plated or do anyhting to them? Im debating on painting my calipers red or not right now. Anymore suggestions are gretaly appreciated. Thanks

Wow, you do some amazing work. If i sent you my FRC's would you paint them for me? Yea, im not so sure the "true" fire would work too well with my theme considering it incorporates a lot of yellow and orange. I jsut want a black base with some red flames, as "true" as you can get without too many other colors and than in some neat black letters, not too thick, the words Trans Am inscribed inside the flame. Any idea? Price for this? Also would you fill i nthe corvette letters? Let me know please. Feel free to PM or or whatever. Thanks

Don't do red on the hood grilles or side vents. That wouldn't look to fly imo.

Some of Mecham's hoods look decent, but it's just too bad that they're pure crap in terms of quality.

WOW, that looks amazing Stryker, nice work.
A small appearance mod that I have done that gets a lot of coments and was very cheap (5.00) was to wrap the small sail panels behind the windows in a carbonfiber vinyl. I did not like how they fade faster than the rest of the paint.
