Thank you.
I have 2 updates.
1. I have finished the design for the Camaro gauge pod. I had to make a seperate one from the T/A because they are different in many small ways. So as soon as my laser guy cuts these out I will be producing the official Camaro gauge pods.
2.Here is the electric item I was talking about that my customer installed into his gauge pod. It is a new trick goodie from Dakota Dash.
Here is a direct quote from Dakota Digital.
The DGS-3 offers display of automatic gear position (using Dakota Digital GSS-2000 Sender), turn signal indicators, high beam indicator along with a miscellaneous indicator to be used for check engine, 4wd, cruise control, security or anything else necessary
Yes all that in one gauge! Pics of the gauges lit up will be coming soon. The dakota gauge is in the center.

I installed this 2002 dash and console into a 70 camaro this weekend in about 4-5 hours. I set the gauge pod in there just to get a pic.

CONGRATULATIONS on the interview!! Mabey you can get a Group purchase going so some of the members can easily afford the gauges.
If you do that I will add the link to my first post for everyone to see.

I added your name in this first post of this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/removed-locked-thread-graveyard/359091-93-02-t-autometer-gauge-pod-5-gauges.html so I can keep track of the members interrested in teh camaro gauge pods.
I will delete everything from the first post of this thread to prevent confusion. It looks like as soon as the camaro pods are cut out they will all be gone so I will need to cut more right away if they work.

VERY Impressive work.. I noticed you are only running Water temp and Voltage.. are you going to add Oil Pressure? and maybe Oil Temp? if so where?

I am really looking to do something like this in my 89 vette (which currently has a 1991 dash) in my case the CCM will still keep the mileage, but hidden from view.

I am running Tach, speedo, oil, fuel, and water temp. If I decide to add any more gauges, I could easily add them next to the cig lighter in the console.

Thanks.. looking at it again i see the gauges you are running. For me I would end up with the smalled 3-3/8" gauges, but I need to ind out the dept of the gauges as I am limited on space.

That is a killer set-up though

Depending on the diameter, there might be enough room between the gauges for a shift light. One of my customers installed a Dakota instruments gauge between the tach and speedo. That gauge has gear indicator, turn signals, and several other items in it. I believe it is pictureed in the first thread of the link im about to supply. It is in the red gauge pod. You can see more information here. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=359091

Did you ever get the odometer to work? Is it possible to get a 6th guage in between the speedo and tach? I've been looking into a custom dash since switching the the BS3 and have no use for the stock computer and dash.

Yes my odometer works. Everything works and is very easy to hook up. Yes you can get a 6th gauge between the tack and speedo but it has to be a small one. Please see the first post in this thread for any further questions. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=359091
