Best Swirl Remover Wax/Polish
What is the best way to remove swirl marks? I heard Zaino Z-5 was excellent. What is everyone else using, and what has had the best results

does this stuff really work? cause i dont want to buy swirl remover stuff and not have it work at all, that would suck. where can i buy the menzerna stuff? a particular web site? And no, the swirls arent deep, you cant put your finger nail through them, there just little fine scratches/swirls

Works better than anything I have ever tried. You have to use it with a Porter Cable (or similar polisher) to make it work at it's best. I have a black T/A and this keeps it swirl-free (I don't have to tell you how hard it is to keep a black car nice).
Of course, I only take my car out when it's nice (never seen the rain), I never wash the car with actual water (use quik detail spray in between polishing using Meguirs and 100% cotton towels with no edge hemming), and go over the entire car 1st with the Intensive then with the Final Polish twice per season.
I bought mine online here:
Menzerna Polishes
They also have the instructions for using with the Porter Cable on their site.

I bought mine from www.properautocare.com. Yes, it works. And my car has over 96,000 miles on it, so that should give you some idea of how well it works.

I put Intensive Polish, Final Polish II, then Klasse All-In-One sealent on my black 01 TA, I put the intinsive polish and final polish on 3-4 times per year, and I prolly put a Klasse All-In-One coat on once every week, and just keep stacking up the coats.

Yea, i was wondering how that Z-PC stuff worked. I havent heard of anyone using it. maybe i will buy the menzerna and the Z-PC and see which works better. I know, you cant buy either in retail stores, how stupid. Anyway, Zaino is made in NJ...I live there, so they wont ship it to me, which is completely retarded. I have to drive 40 min to the only store in NJ that they say carries it.

I read that the Z-PC is abbrasive and can leave marks in my paint. I dont want that. Cant I just put on a couple coats of the Z-5? ANother thing, do you have to buy the ZFX and use it with the Zaino products? Cause I dont want to be mixing crap together. Can you put on Z-2, Z-5 with the ZFX? I was going to buy Z-1, Z-2, and Z-5. Put the Z-1 on first, then Z-5, then Z-2. IDK cause the menzerna stuff sounds pretty good also.

All true polishes contain abrasives. When used correctly, they remove swirls and scratches, they don't cause more. How could you remove anything without them?
ZFX is highly recommended for optimum performance of Z2 Pro and/or Z5, but it is not completely necessary for them to work.
If you don't want to drive to the Zaino store, find a nearby distributor who can save you some shipping or driving costs.

I've used Z-PC Fusion and it worked great , it removed swirls and spiderweb from the paint and made the Matalic Black look like new . I thought it was wellworth the money. just my .02 cents.

another vote for the menzerna. I will never use anything else again! I usually use my porter cabe, but for ***** and grins I borrowed a high speed buffer and used the intensive polish, final polish, glaze and fmj. Looked brand new. Not a single swirl mark.

i personally use 3M perfect-it 3000 fine cut rubbing compound and them come back after i do the car in that with 3M perfect-it 3000 swirl mark remover and it looks like the car was just painted. That is what we use at work after we color sand a painted surface and i use it on my personal vehicles, my girlfriends mom's escalade was scratched up really bad and i used these two products on the car applied by hand (hard work and time consuming) and it looked brand new. It has a good deep shine, i always come back with a good hand glaze or finish glaze afterwards to protect the shine
