Question Gauges, how? possible?

Is it difficult to take off the gauge cluster? I'm thinking of putting a decal on the overlay if u see what I mean, possible?
Thanks for your help!

2 screws at the plastic pieces top

4 at each corner of the cluster

you will have to work it out, then pop off the plastic cover.

It is pretty cool... but not for what they want for it plus the recalibration

Sure, if you can afford to have your car down for the turn around period + shell out the $350 for it. I believe you can have gauges recalibrated in many places close to home for much less than they want to charge you.

I've had my cluster out 20+ times. Is a simple job, unscrew your tilt steering ****(or stick, whatever you call it), unclip the plastic piece at the base of it. Reason for this is it gets in the way later when taking out the cluster. Then it is just taking out the screws and the cluster pulls straight out, no wires to remove. I suggest you tilt the steering wheel all the way down before you remove the tilt ****. Watch out when removing the clear lense, you can scratch it easy and keep a eye on the spring and button on your odometer reset. When you take the clear lense off the spring and button fall out and you can easily not notice it. Most of my problems taking one out is I forget the odometer reset button and spring.

I think there were a couple people around here who had it done, hopefully one or two will chime in. I know some people were really happy with it, and I remember hearing the turnaround on it was like a week.

There were some unhappy though, I'd give this thread a look before I dropped $400.

IF you're actually going to be driving faster than 160 (which is absolutely retarded in the first place) you don't need confirmation from the speedometer that you are being a F*#$in idiot... I'm pretty sure you already know that.

I agree with you Arctic, but some f-body owners wouldn't mind getting it and spending 300 bucks just for the "aggressive" look of it, if u see what I mean, not for confirmation from the speedometer that you r being a F#$%& idiot (I'm not thinking of purchasing it, but it does look sweet, doesn't it?)

If I had totally run out of things to blow my money on, that would be on the list someplace, but it looks nice
