Default Carbon Fiber Console

I could have sworn that I saw a kit once but I have been going nut trying to find it again. Does anyone know what website sells them or if I was simply on crack at the time?

You can have it covered, but I don't think there was ever a kit. Maybe for just the upper console, but not for the lower. RKSport used to sell it, but not anymore.

I disagree... there's a complete carbon kit... let me find it, was the upper console, the whole thing right to the back of the storage in the middle...

The RKsport kit is the "Bfranker" link a few posts up........they don't sell it anymore because of "quality" issues, mainly the color difference between thier latest, and last shipment.....everything was comming back more Gold/Greenish in color.....so I'm assuming thay had to many complaints and said screw it, on to something more profitable for a car thats still being made........it's the kit that I have on my car, with the edition of the crappy console......

here ya go.......the whole story..........https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...fiber+dash+kit

You could always wrap yours custom, like I did... all in all it only cost me about $60 to do. Was my first time doing it, and the lid turned a little yellowish because I used either way too many layers of resin, or I used too much surfacing wax when I mixed the last layer of resin.

And then there's Mr ChevyChad over here, who does awesome work... the guy that made me take the plunge into doing CF myself, and now I'm addicted.

ive got to try this CF thing out. i want to cover a decent # of things, but it would be too expensive to pay somebody to do it. besides i might be able to make soem money doin it for others.
