Pics of my new 02 Z28
A friend offered me his for a low price because he can't afford the insurance on it. I bought it because I've always wanted pewter, it has half the miles of mine, leather, and is in great shape. I'm in the process of transferring all my mods from the red Z to this one.
I cleaned her up and here she is (the remaining shoepolish on the back window is now cleaned off):

Looks good. When are you putting the converter and all that on the new car?
And how soon before you really fix it up on the outside? The black wheels look great. Now you just need to do the Berger panel mod, Whistler mod or Halos for the headlights, clear or blacked out turn signals, a little lowering, and an SS hood and spoiler with a black Manta stripe. I'll expect this stuff to be complete in two weeks. Get to work!

As for the appearance mods, I'd love to have them all done in a week, but sadly, that won't be happening. The rearend is making some noise, so I need to have it checked out. My friend was rearended in the car, but the damage was only to the catback and rear bumper, so it was nothing big. But we think that it may have jarred around some of the bearings or something in the rear, because the car has been making slight noises for about 2 months now. We thought it was just his tires getting bald and making noise, but I put my wheels and tires on there and it's gotten worse now. So I'm going to have that checked out and that might drain my money until I pick up a new job here soon (hopefully). I'm hoping it's nothing serious in the rearend. After that, I hope to get:
-SS hood and have the black manta scoop like my old car
-black billet grille
-diamond clear corners
-lowered with DMS or BMR springs
-gloss black tail panel w/ stainless lettering
-20% sides, 15% rear tint
-either black halo or Whistler mod on my headlights
Basically everything you said, because we must have an awesome taste in style. Just going to take some serious money and a bit of time, because right now I don't have much of either.

Looks awesome Scotty! I really like the Black ZR-1's on the pewter. Sounds like you've got all the right mods listed for the new Z. I feel you about the money and time. I've had the stuff to attempt the Whistler mod for months now. Just trying to secure the time.
Can't wait to see yours when it's done.

Just picking at ya man. Can't do it all at once. Mods aren't cheap and time is hard to come by sometimes. Sounds like you've got a great plan together. That car will be sweet when it comes together. I look forward to seeing the progress.
Now get that rear end checked out and get that sucker to the track!
