T-Top Separator
T-Top Separator So yesterday at work one of our clients pulls in with his Z-28. I was standing on the 2nd floor and noticed that the Camaro and TA/Firebird have extremely similar bodies from that view.
It caught my eye that the plastic (if it's even plastic) molding piece between the T-tops stains really bad. It's that water droplet effect. I'm sure some of you are familiar with it. Both of our cars had the same exact problem, so I'm guessing most all F-bodies with T-tops experience the same.
Anyway, I was thinking of touching it up, but wasn't sure what the best product would be to tackle that.
Anyone ever dealt with it?

They say Mother's Back to Black works well. What I'm wondering is, can you sand it, paint it, and clear it so you dont have to deal with the plastic fading and marring like it does. Good question.
ahhhhh, you guys, its painted! When I detail these cars I just buff and wax it as well and they come out brand new every time. Get some meguiars #80 speed glaze or your preferred polish and have at it. After that, just wax as normal.
