moulding delete: DO IT! PICS
I removed the side moulding this weekend and just wanted to say that the car looks SO much better. If you haven't done this mod, I would definitely recommend it. I just used some dental floss, goo gone and my now sore thumb. After everything was peeled off, I just used some Meguires paint cleaner, then polish, can't even tell the moulding was ever there. I snapped some pics, which I'll put up later tonight.

I have yet to do it on my new car but I did it on my 99 firebird def improves the apprearance. I used a hair dryer to loosen up the glue and just peeled it off. used my thumb to rub off the adhesive..

I'll be at work for another hour then I'll download them from the digital camera when I get home. It's much easier to tell the the difference in person vs. a pic, the sun reflects off that area of the door.

wont the color of the paint underneathe the molding be a different shade from being covered while the car has been in the sun? or not enough to notice? because THAT and taking a chunk of the clear coat with it has been stopping me from doing it.

AGREED!!!.. This is a must do for F-body owners looking for a even more clean and sleek look to their car. I even took off my Z28 emblems. I must say my car looks great without the moldings and emblems. LESS IS MORE!! Word of warning though give yourself plenty of time. And an old credit card helps to remove the big chunks of glue without worries of scatching your paint.
